Socialism: OK For Men?

When we listen to the Main Stream Media we hear an ongoing mantra that has been repeated for more than a decade. Socialism bad, Capitalism good. To see how Americans exist in a fog purposely contrived by the 1%, through their monopolization of the information pathways in this country, one must don their critical thinking cap.
Looking at data is an idea promoted by the scientific method of problem solving. A time tested way of reaching conclusions in order to determine our location, so that we can chart a path to desired outcomes. In other words, we need to see where we are in order to decide which direction we want to go. If we think we are somewhere when we are actually in a totally different place, we will never be able to logically plan our way to where it is we wish to be. And this is exactly the conundrum the 1% enjoy, a spell if you will which they have cast upon us in order to enable them to reign free.
Americans have been propagandized to hate anything to do with the mention of Socialism. It conjures up images of the late Soviet Union and the poverty and human misery suffered under that regime. It conjures up images of Cuba and totalitarian government inflicting poverty and militarism on the society there. The Main Stream Media have instilled these images into the mindset of the American populous using high tech visuals and sounds. Combined with scare tactics, negative attitudes and stories of certain doom. This is purposely instigated onto the population with a specific agenda. To promote an economic system of free market capitalism. This economic system is the favorite of archaic patriarchy which is no friend to humanitarianism or equality and in fact promotes racist warmongering, environmental degradation and poverty.
Proponents of patriarchy do have a soft spot for men at least in as much as being able to control and exploit them for the purpose of making more money for themselves. The 1% of men in control of everything have convinced most of the other 99% of men, that all men are superior and need to rule over the Earth and all the creatures on it including women and children. That everything exists for the pleasure of men to be used as they see fit. Now, even if many open minded men realize this is an archaic and backward view to have towards the world and everything in it, they still need to be aware of it's effects. In fact, life on Earth is dependent on the awakening of male humans to the destructivism and chaos of a widespread mindset promoting  ideas of patriarchy. For in truth, patriarchy is the rule of only 1% of men over all others. Convincing all men that it benefits men in general is a huge propaganda campaign.
Let's start by determining where we are. Looking at the facts and data is hard to do because they're not pretty. As an intellectual and civilized species we would expect to have, by this day and age, accomplished more. We should have much more to celebrate and be proud of. OK, so that's where we want to go, towards the direction of being a species that has something to offer the universe. Beauty, peace, wisdom and ingenuity more of these is what we all desire. How do we get there?
Realizing first, that there are in fact many social programs for men. The Military is tax payer funded. A Jobs and "Private Contractor" Corporate Social Program devised to generate livelihoods for mostly men. Wall Street feeds off the Military and is run by a majority of men. Lest we forget Wall St. banks were bailed out by a social program of tax payer funds. Congress, SCOTUS, State and City Governments are all funded by tax payer dollars and are also dominated by men in their employ. Churches are extremely prevalent in the USA. Most of which serve as non-profit money conduits for the men who run them. The NFL is a male centric corporate entity that makes $10 Billion in tax-exempt profit every year. National, State and Local road, highways and bridges (infrastructure) is an ongoing jobs program for again, mostly men. When cities get grants to build anything this is yet another social jobs program for men.

So, when we hear Republicans and Libertarians bash Socialism we now must immediately call them out. Because men are the biggest benefactors of Socialism in the USA. When we hear the Republican warmongers bash single moms trying to raise kids in a society extremely hostile to women; we need to compare what men get and the insufficient and nonexistent support for women. We need to call them out when they criticize and try to abolish SNAP. Because the reality does not support their anti-social talking points. Shining a light on Male Centric Social Programs is the least we can do to pinpoint our exact location. Allowing men to continue to imagine they are not dependent on social programs would be enabling a lie that perpetuates the archaic mindset of patriarchy.

Crystal Clear

The Republicans push this idea that the money they have is because of something they do better than everybody else, and is therefore deserved. The thing they do better is exploiting people, the legal system, and the environment. They use various forms of cronyism in order to exclude those who are different from themselves. Republicans are the people who think a person deserves to be "ripped-off" if they are stupid enough to trust a salesperson, a politician, or judge. They're the people that thrive in a cut-throat corporate culture that takes as much from the community as it can for as long as it can, just because it can.  They believe anybody who gets hurt in the process represents a weak link and deserves to be hurt.
The more we reward this mindset with high wages, low taxes, government subsidies, and lack of regulation; The more mean spirited, callous and toxic our culture and society becomes.

Is The "Survival of The Fittest Millionaires Club" in the US Congress Trying to Destroy America?

Social Darwinism is the idea behind Republican inhumane social, economic, foreign and environmental policies. Poor Americans and those in the middle-class should not be under-served and their interests under represented. We are the majority!  It is obvious to the whole world that millionaires in congress are having a difficult time keeping themselves from preying on the weak. And have difficulty withholding themselves from exploiting the citizens, society, natural resources, and public institutions they are supposed to serve and protect.

Social Darwinism... What is it? A quick google search will bring you to this definition: The theory that individuals, groups, and peoples are subject to the same Darwinian laws of natural selection as plants and animals. Now largely discredited, Social Darwinism was advocated by Herbert Spencer and others in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and was used to justify political conservatism, imperialism, and racism and to discourage intervention and reform. ~

You see, Social Darwinists don't (in their minds) have to adhere to the same social norms of obeying the laws of the land and rules of fair play like the rest of us. They have gained positions where they can now construct the laws to be in their favor and to our detriment. They see this as their being Fit, Fitter than we, the majority.

How do Social Darwinists in Congress get everybody to call them Christians?
JUST WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH THAT?

Maybe we could... Call them out, call them what they are. Don't participate in their PROPAGANDA by adhering to their false identity labels.

Ayn Rand Worshiping "Social Darwinists" have been masquerading as Christians in an attempt to dismantle the social fabric of America. Enforcing austerity on the majority while they pilfer the public coffers. They are nothing more than 21st century snake oil salesmen. They belong in prison for using their elected positions to inflict economic violence on Americans and for corrupting and offering up the political system to the highest bidders.

They threaten millions of Americans with the fear of poverty and starvation on a daily basis. They are worse than terrorists because... From their positions of authority they treat citizens as commodities, using them like cattle to grow their own personal Wall Street investment portfolios. Not only are they condescending, corrupt and unconcerned, they are neglectful of their duty to serve the public good.

This group of people has done enough damage and caused enough human suffering using their positions of power to harm the people. It is time to remove them from office. Charges should be brought ~ even if only to send a clear, new tone of public expectations to our public officials.

New regulations to ensure politicians avoid conflicts of interests; And specific standards of conduct for politicians need to be implemented from here on out.

My Email to Elizabeth Warren for Senate All Night Discussion on Climate Change

To Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)

We cannot talk about the topic of climate change without addressing the current energy industry. It's a privatized industry basically working as a middle man to manage the public resources used to produce energy for our country. We know this as a carbon-based or sometimes referred to as a fossil fuel based industry.

Economics ties into our dilemma because so many powerful people subscribe to the cultish beliefs of The Free Market System. And because of this we have all been subjected to the proliferation of archaic means of energy production, not only in our own country but around the world.  Much money is being made by a select few by holding the world hostage to the fossil fuel industry way of meeting our energy needs.

Now I know some people, the President included, have stated that natural gas is a clean alternative to oil and coal. Let's remind them that methane is a greenhouse gas. Let's also remind them that exploiting and contaminating our fresh water aquifers in order to drill for natural gas is hardly what any sane person would call clean energy.

In 2014 energy technology should be helping to make people more independent and more sufficient in obtaining their energy needs. It should be freeing up the ability for many more people to travel near and far. Our elderly and our children should never have to fear freezing to death in the winter due to an unpaid utility bill. Our families should easily be able to grow a portion of their own organic food all year around if they want to.

Empowering citizens to become more sufficient in providing for their own needs, without depending on a Corporation which is exploiting them for profit, is what we should be aspiring to. This is what advancing energy technology could do, and should do, as our society evolves towards more balance within our ecosystem. Solar power does not require humans to be subjected to a profiteering middleman, in order to keep from freezing to death or to feed themselves, and this is a good thing.

Recognizing and Punishing Economic Crimes Against Humanity

Written by Stephanie J. Gilley

Many will argue that we have yet to reach the level of what we would all envision as an advanced and humane society. Looking at our world I would have to say there are pockets that have somehow successfully achieved this ideal. I do not include those places that have cultivated the illusion of successful advancement on the backs of their neighbors or by exploiting people and regions far from where they reside. That would be considered cheating. To pretend that the old ways are still OK is laughable, sickening actually. Children as young as 8 understand right from wrong, wastefulness, fair play, respect, equality and dignity why can't our leaders? For people in power to pretend they don't understand or to try and convince us there are no other ways to "get ahead" is a display of their incompetence. To think anything else would put the public in the uncomfortable position of acknowledging our leaders as being criminal. That they have deliberately created conditions in which the majority of human beings live precariously at their mercy. Yes they have purposely put the responsibility onto the backs of the masses by giving us the vote. That way we will always first blame ourselves and each other before we ever could conceive that the problems have been purposely instigated. Sly devils these leaders of ours.

Before any ideal can be achieved it is important to recognize obstacles in our path. How true is our own view of reality? Are we fully aware of our potential? Do we know what institutions are working and which have been compromised? When dealing with perception of reality on a mass scale it is important to realize who is in control of the most influential institutions and their agenda. Do not be afraid to ask questions. For instance, you have a right to know if a small minority of people with their own agenda is in control of any influential institution. Everything should be an open book. When there are secrets with regard to the public domain we have problems, we get corruption. This is why public control of all large institutions is a good thing. If you want a private corporation fine, just don't let it get too big or too wealthy; because then it has the power to endanger society and we as a society don't want that. So size, wealth and secrecy can be signs of potential for powerful corruption. These three need to be restricted, regulated and monitored.

It is wise to look around and recognize what is not working. What is entirely unacceptable in this day and age. Use our advancements in science and technology as a gauge. We have all done this by comparing our ability as a species to have walked on the moon, to the fact that millions of people are still starving on this planet. Now look at our ability to communicate, how quick, how precise. Compare that to the continued use of "The Violence of War" to solve problems and worse yet as an economic booster. These examples demonstrate how our leaders are exploiting old methods that are out of balance with today's world. They do not make logical sense and are clearly unacceptable.

Become aware of how large institutions divide and conquer to retain power over society. Every example used to outwardly categorize humans away from the whole tears at the cohesiveness of society. Excessive focus on gender, race, religion, visual identifiers like skin and hair color, coerced difference, i.e. sports teams; and competition in everything is not natural. It promotes fear of the unknown and hatred for the unfamiliar. Our natural diversity is a good thing because in truth we are almost identical, science has shown us this. So diversity in nature is celebrated and in living genomes it serves to strengthen life not weaken it.

Now to deal with the leaders and their obvious criminality. I has to be done. To ignore this responsibility is to condemn generations of humans to more of the same unacceptable suffering and exploitation. We have achieved conscious awareness of the problem. Of the inadequate ability of the "powerful"  to lead the modern world. We have at our disposal the technology to restrain them and to put into place regulations to keep their type of crimes from happening again. To promote humanity beyond the slavery and indignity of living at the mercy of their violent and unsympathetic whims. There are humane answers to every problem facing us today. We need to remove the obstacles in our path.
